BACKGROUND

FOUNDATIONS

My foundational education and internship opportunities provided me with experience working with individuals, groups, and families ranging from children and adolescents to older adults. My training was based in community, non-profit outpatient settings as well as residential and acute inpatient settings. I have received training in working with visually impaired individuals, individuals struggling with disordered eating, individuals living with severe, persistent mental illness, individuals in crisis, those feeling anxious or depressed, as well as those searching for support and skills to deal with life’s everyday stressors. With a broad range of foundational training, I served as a Clinical Social Worker at UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital for several years prior to transitioning to a teen treatment setting as a therapist. I know work as a Clinical Faculty/ Therapist at USC by day and see adult and adolescent clients in private practice therapist on evenings and weekends.
